Used as a popular piece of home decor both inside and outside, pumpkins add the perfect fall flair to your tabletop, mantel, or front porch.

Since they come in a variety of sizes it is easy to find pumpkins to fit your design needs and they can be paired with other seasonal items like acorns, colorful leaves, corn stalks, and apples to knock your fall design ideas out of the patch.

Pumpkins have been the inspiration for a variety of fun and easy-to-make crafts too! When it comes to making your own pumpkin-themed crafts make sure to get the kids in on the action! The level of difficulty varies for each project but no matter what you choose to make I guarantee everyone will enjoy making their own pumpkin crafts.

I've gathered up seven simple pumpkin crafts for you today that I know you will really enjoy. Gather up your craft supplies and dive right into pumpkin crafting!

7 Easy Pumpkin Craft Projects To Make This Fall

1 - Paper Pumpkins

Make these adorable paper pumpkins from strips of colorful construction paper or scrapbooking paper, pipe cleaners and glue! This is an easy Halloween craft everyone will love to make. Get the tutorial at Its Always Autumn.

2 - Embossed Pumpkin Art

Create a beautiful piece of fall art with an embossed pumpkin picture. Tin foil, markers, and hot glue are the tools needed for this fun project. Find the complete tutorial here from MommySuburbia (that's me!).

3 - T-Shirt Yarn Pumpkin

Making your own t-shirt yarn is so EASY. This pumpkin-making craft uses t-shirt yarn upcycled from an old t-shirt. I love crafts that use upcycled materials to create something new! Find how to make t-shirt yarn and this festive pumpkin at Saved For More

4 - Paper Bag Pumpkins

Who knew a paper bag could turn into a pumpkin! This would be a fun project to make with kids since it is simple and quick to do.

These little paper bag pumpkins would look great as part of a Halloween or Thanksgiving tablescape too.  Grab a bottle of orange craft paint, black construction paper, newspaper, and a paper lunch bag and you are ready to start crafting a Halloween pumpkin! Here are the instructions from ABCDee Learning

5 - Pumpkin Hoops

Embroidery hoops + orange cotton print fabric = pumpkin hoop art! There are so many wonderful cotton print fabrics available it will be hard to narrow down which one to choose for this project. Also, embroidery hoops come in a variety of sizes so you can make several pumpkin hoops and hang them together for a mini pumpkin patch. Thanks to Hey Lets Make Stuff for this great fall project!

6 - Mason Jar Pumpkin

Since fall is the season of harvest it should be easy to find mason jars in a variety of sizes and shapes. Canning jars turned into a festive pumpkin is the perfect way to make your home more festive this autumn.  While waiting for the paint to dry on your jar take a break with a hot cup of cider and a pumpkin muffin. Follow the step-by-step tutorial for this mason jar pumpkin at The 36th Avenue.

7 - Scrap Wood Pumpkin

Did you just finish a woodworking project and have a few small pieces of scrapwood you don't know what to do with? These scrap wood pumpkins are the perfect solution to your problem.

You could make them long or short depending on the size of your scrap wood pieces too. A quick coat of orange paint on the scrap wood will get it looking like a pumpkin in no time at all! I love how Re-Fabbed added a small chunky stick for the stem and a little raffia tied in a bow to finish off their scrap wood pumpkin.

I hope you are as inspired to make a crafty pumpkin as I am! Gather up your DIY supplies and get ready for some family fun this fall!
